YEAR'S REVIEW IN THE LAST QUATER

This is a throwback article on new year's eve and also 2017 review  which I titled-

HAPPY NEW 'H'EAR!!!!
As the clock ticked ’12:00’, on 1-1-2017! Everyone in the church shouted for joy! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Families and friends went in search of one another, for a warm hug and best wishes for the year. Unusual of me, I stood on a spot, lost in worship: as my inner voice conversed with me.

Indeed, It’s a new year again; It is patent we should be happy. Don’t forget that as we grow into another year, the end comes closer. Not just the end of the life, but the end of the world as prophesied; no one can live forever you know.

How much have you done for yourself, family and humanity? As an individual, how much love have you shared among your siblings, parents/guardian, extended family, friends and colleagues? As a Parent, how deep, has your relationship with your children grown? As a citizen, what impact have you made in your country, to make it better than the past years?

What have you offered the world you came into without an option, before leaving, yet again, without an option? Have you been a blessing or a curse to those around you? Have you decided to be part of a great future, your future will turn back to and be glad you existed?

These were the questions telling in my heart, in the frenzy of jubilation on the first day of 2017, which I thought would be pertinent to share. Yes, the reminder of the end got me down trodden, but the gift of life gave me 'Joy and Hope' again.
It’s a beautiful season, with great opportunities. We all can ‘decide’ to join hands with our friends, family and leaders today, to create better years ahead. “Rome wasn’t built in a day” you know!

As the year runs out, I have this to say-

Although it is the last quarter of the year, there is still enough time to stop living in past praises and create more to be praised before the year runs out.
I believe I can be part of great future, do you?
